This sport apparel designer began her career as a dancer, eventually getting into activewear design. She was an NBA dancer, but was embarrassed by the outfits they wanted her to wear, feeling the outfits were neither right for the movements they had to make when they danced, nor respected their feelings as woman sports fans. Our dancer felt she could design better outfits for women active in all kinds of sports. So she did.
